Born in Chicago, Illinois, now lives in Coronado, California and is a studio goldsmith. Attended Southern Illinois University where she earned a B.S. in Interior Design in 1972. She has worked for firms in Boston, Chicago, St. Louis, and San Diego, where she established her own Interior Design firm. After ten years as a hobbyist she pursued a career in Metals, sharing a Studio in the Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park for the past ten years.
Working in Sterling Silver and high karat Gold, each piece of jewelry is hand fabricated from sheet and wire. Gold is alloyed and formed into sheet and wire by hand. Presently, her focus is on Mokume Gane which she patterns and fabricates into custom bands, as well as earrings, brooches, pendants, and rings, often encorporating South Seas, Tahitian, or Freshwater pearls or precious gems.
